The City service center in Locarno is a multifunctional building which hosts fire and police department, ambulance service, The City service center in Locarno is a multifunctional building which hosts fire and police department, ambulance service, city planning offices and other departments in the council’s administration.
The building, which at the basis measures 22.80×53.91m has five levels, four above ground, used as offices and technical rooms and a basement. 
The planimetric approach is the same for all levels: two building heads containing a large central space, which can assume different functions, a large garage on the ground floor, offices or technical rooms on the upper floors.


The two concrete heads have a unique opening on the ground floor; they hosts lifts and staircases, toilets and the vertical plant engineering. 
The side facades are more abstract, a surface characterized by a texture of alternating brise-soleil, each with its own inclination. 
The windows and doors are in metal and glass, the structure and the floors are made in concrete.
